Fasilitator Sungai

A carefully designed information board about river conservation, mounted on a simple yet sturdy wooden frame near a Surabaya riverbank. The board displays a clean, modern layout with diagrams of the river ecosystem, icons explaining pollution sources, and step-by-step guidelines for protecting waterways, all in clear, readable typography. Around the sign, native grasses and small shrubs grow from well-maintained soil, with the river flowing calmly just beyond. Soft, diffused early-evening light illuminates the board evenly, preventing glare while creating subtle shadows on the wooden frame. Captured in photographic realism from an eye-level, straight-on perspective, the composition keeps the sign sharply in focus while the background is slightly blurred, emphasizing structured, professional environmental education for the community.

Aarav Sharma

An aerial, bird’s eye view of a winding Surabaya river segment bordered by contrasting zones: one side shows dense green vegetation with clean, natural banks, while the opposite side reveals a more urban edge with concrete embankments and neatly arranged drainage channels. Small sandbars and patches of aquatic plants break up the water’s surface, adding organic texture. The midday light is bright but not harsh, casting minimal shadows and allowing clear visibility of the river’s shape and surrounding land use. Photographic realism with sharp focus across the entire frame emphasizes the spatial relationship between natural and built environments, creating a professional, analytical mood well-suited for education about watershed management and urban river planning.

Mateo García

A close-up view of a small, thriving freshwater microhabitat at the edge of a Surabaya river, where clear shallow water reveals smooth river stones of varied sizes, tiny aquatic plants with bright green leaves, and partially submerged roots from a riverside tree. A few fallen brown and yellow leaves rest on the wet stones, adding natural contrast. Sunlight filtered through overhead foliage creates dappled patterns on the water surface and stones, producing gentle highlights and soft shadows. Shot in photographic realism with a shallow depth of field and an eye-level macro perspective, the composition centers on textures and details, conveying a scientific yet tranquil atmosphere ideal for illustrating river ecology and aquatic biodiversity education.

Zuri Ndlovu

A calm, gently flowing urban river bordered by lush green riverbank vegetation, with clear reflections of the blue sky on the water’s surface. On one side, neatly arranged rocks stabilize the bank, while native shrubs and young trees create layered textures of different leaf shapes and shades of green. Simple, well-maintained wooden signage about river conservation stands near the edge, surrounded by tidy grass. Captured in soft morning sunlight that casts delicate shadows and highlights on the ripples, the mood is professional yet serene. Photographic realism at eye level, with sharp focus throughout and a clean, modern composition, conveys environmental education and responsible care for the river ecosystem in Surabaya.

Leila Haddad

A detailed, close-up photographic view of a transparent testing kit arranged on a weathered wooden plank near a riverbank, featuring clear plastic test tubes with different shades of blue and green water samples, a compact color comparison chart, and a digital handheld meter resting beside them. The plank lies on compacted soil with scattered small stones and tufts of grass, while the river’s gently rippled surface appears softly blurred in the background. Late-morning natural light evenly illuminates the instruments, creating crisp reflections on the plastic and metal surfaces without harsh glare. Shot in photographic realism with a shallow depth of field and a clean, centered composition, the mood is precise and professional, highlighting scientific water quality monitoring as part of environmental education.

Hiroshi Tanaka

An organized outdoor learning corner beside a river, featuring a sturdy wooden table with neatly arranged laminated river ecosystem diagrams, sample glass jars filled with clear and slightly murky water, smooth labeled stones, and simple waterproof field notebooks stacked in a row. The table stands on compacted earth near a vegetated riverbank with reeds and small flowering plants. Diffused overcast light softens the scene, minimizing harsh shadows and emphasizing natural colors. Shot from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the composition uses the rule of thirds to balance the educational materials with the calm river in the background, creating a focused, professional atmosphere of structured environmental learning about freshwater ecosystems.

Amara Okafor

A meticulously clean section of riverside embankment, where sorted piles of recyclable plastic bottles, metal cans, and glass are separated into clearly labeled, color-coded bins made of durable plastic. Nearby, sturdy burlap sacks contain collected organic debris like twigs and leaves, resting on a dry, compacted soil surface free of litter. In the background, the river flows steadily past green vegetation and a distant concrete bridge, illustrating the meeting of nature and city. Late afternoon golden-hour sunlight creates warm highlights on the bins and soft shadows along the ground. Captured in photographic realism from a slightly low angle, with moderate depth of field, the mood is proactive and professional, emphasizing organized river clean-up and responsible waste management.
